Min Lee
Founder, CEO & President |
Min Lee is a passionate entrepreneur and innovator. Always seeking out creative solutions to problems, Min Lee has successfully engaged in many large-scale business and government projects on both the national and international level.
After observing and identifying key problems in the medical industry, Min Lee founded IPMD, Inc. to face these challenges. Min continues to be vigilant in working to provide any possible solution; fixated on the goal of eliminating disease. One of his first achievements was developing a point-of-care device which could simultaneously detect a variety of infectious diseases; he is the chief inventor of the patented technology. He went on to develop the technologies required to create an Artificial Intelligence Platform which could accurately identify chronic diseases during early stages using non-invasive human samples such as blood from fingertip, urine, and/or saliva. Next, In order to fight against loneliness, emotional vulnerabilities, and mental disorders, he has created emotional artificial intelligence, Project M, that can understand human emotions completely just based on facial looks. He is currently developing unmet solutions for the AI-Human interaction platform, Ainume. Ainume is a Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision Artificial Intelligence Platform that provides nutraceutical solutions to alleviate and cure many chronic diseases. Min Lee graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He has been consistently active in supporting entrepreneurial and educational programs among young professionals as well as mentoring students along the way, preparing them to be future leaders in their field. Lee is a Principal Investigator and Preceptor leading a number of UC Berkeley Independent Research Classes such as IB 99/199, MCB 99/199, STAT 199, Econ 197, PP199, Cog Sci 197, PH 297, DS 97/197 and CS 97/197. |
Matthew Lee
Executive Vice President Chief Development Officer, Emotional Intelligence |
Matthew is an expert in Facial Expression-Human Emotions, biomarker discoveries, Point-of-Care diagnostics, and is currently responsible for creating IPMD research strategies and detailed development plans. Matthew holds BS degree in Biomedical Engineering at UC San Diego as well as oncology laboratory experiences from CST in UCSF. Matthew is one of the key developers of MA8789, an innovative and highly effective anticancer agent and immunomodulator.

Erik Ni
Chief Technology Officer |
Erik is the Chief Technology Officer at IPMD to develop Artificial Intelligence Platform that can interact with human.
Erik has start up experiences including product design, marketing, business development, financial modeling, and market analysis. Erik holds BA Degree in Economics at University of Gothenburg and Master's Degree in Finance at John's Hopkins University. He holds his second Master's Degree in Information System at John's Hopkins University. |
Thomas Lane
Director of Full-Stack Engineering |
Thomas is the Director of Full-Stack Engineering at IPMD for Project M. Thomas is in charge of integrating the emotional AI, Project M, with the website. He has designed the website with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. He has used the web framework Django to develop the website, and have used a combination of Google Cloud, Docker, and TensorFlow Serving to allow users to access the the integrated website and experience with Project M.
He was an Undergraduate Researcher in the Eisen Lab at UC Berkeley. His team developed a Machine Learning Model that can help predict the function of the non-coding region of DNA. The team used TensorFlow to develop a Neural Network and have been working on formatting and classifying data from the genome in order to create the most effective AI possible. He has used Motif Discovery Algorithms to hopefully find underlying motifs that may not have been identified in the lab but are still crucial to enhancer function. Thomas has also worked on the statistical analysis of the predictions made by the AI. Thomas graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Genetics. |
Phillip Scott Alexander
Director of PR & Marketing |
Phillip Scott Alexander is the director of PR & Marketing at IPMD, Inc. He became a bioinformatician after his father passed away due to renal cell carcinoma. He has a B.S in biology with a minor in chemistry and a M.S in bioinformatics. He has done work in the area of drug-drug interaction, drug-protein interaction and drug-gene expression interaction for curing cancer for the last three years. He has experience with developing an effective model for predicting drug efficacy on the lymphoma cancer cell line OIC-Ly3. He also contributed to the research for a model to predict drug induced neuropathy. His latest work is on helping develop a model to predict drug efficacy for preventing preterm labor and preeclampsia.

Rimma Ten
Director of Data Collection |
Rimma Ten is the Director of Data Collection for the AI Human Interaction Project at IPMD, Inc. She is currently developing Artificial Intelligence Platform that can understand human emotions based on various human facial expressions.
She develops a system for consistently categorizing the internal feelings of a person based on their external expressions. Since the start of the project, she has collected and analyzed nearly 50,000 input data out of total of more than 200,000 input data so far. She holds BA degree in English Literature from Namangan University. |
