INTERNSHIP PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The IPMD Internship Program is designed to provide students with comprehensive educational training, allowing them to develop foundational skills while learning how technology can address complex social and global challenges. Our academic framework encourages participants to explore innovative concepts aimed at improving human well-being.
To participate in this structured educational program, students must align with our core learning objectives and commit to a curriculum of 240 total hours (typically structured as 10 hours per week over one semester). Please note that this is a 100% remote, unpaid, and education-focused training program. Receipt of academic credit from your home institution is highly encouraged to satisfy program requirements
Successful completion of the training curriculum fulfills the prerequisite needed to independently apply for our advanced Executive Partner Program.
Our structured training modules are designed to fulfill the independent study and research criteria of major institutions.

"Interning at IPMD was by far one of the most eye-opening experiences for a pre-med student. I joined the company as an undergraduate student at UC Berkeley with dreams of attending medical school. At the time, I was searching for research opportunities related to medicine, so I joined as a Biomedical Research Intern and the Alzheimer’s Expert. My main tasks were to teach M how to interact and communicate with patients with Alzheimer’s disease. Through this experience, I combined my passion for patients with Alzheimer’s disease with my desire to advance care for patients. Teaching M how to interact with patients allowed me to reflect upon my own skills in communicating with those in need. The innovative lens and skills that I gained in my internship at IPMD provided me with invaluable experience and tools that I utilize as a medical student today. "I started as an artificial intelligence finance intern at IPMD. I worked closely with Min to develop a new project: Project ASTAI (Automated Stock Trading AI), developing an AI-based financial advice algorithm capable of performing active portfolio management automatically. "Working in IPMD was a great experience. It offered me the opportunities to enhance my full-stack development and cloud-based application development skills. "It was such a great experience interning at IPMD, Min and his team are extremely supportive and passionate. I spent the first few weeks collecting, examining, and training the data.
